Canam’s exclusive/patented off-air emergency override function provides complete control over the in-building radio rebroadcast, giving break-in priority access to local Dedicated Radio Consoles (DRC). The BDA also provides a dedicated RF feed for Consoles’ Monitor.
Allows an input Rx signal to be shifted/translated, aka repeated or boosted, on a different Tx output frequency while also selecting the output path (donor or service side). Works effectively as a traditional Repeater for several analog-conventional channels.
a) Cross-path paired Repeater: for example, Rx on the service side UL input and repeat on the service side DL Tx output, on the corresponding paired frequency. (all channels).
b) Cross-path Non-paired Frequency Shift Repeater: for example, Rx on the service side UL input and repeat on the service side DL Tx output, shifted to another non-paired frequency within the DL subband. (limited channels).
