CTI MARK-V Digital DAS System combines two established hardware platforms, Channelized Repeater Amplifiers (CRAs) and Digital Fiber Transport to deliver Transit Grade Public Safety Digital DAS systems for rail & transit markets.
The Optical Master Unit provides coaxial interfaces for radio-frequency sources at the headend and processes the digitized spectra of up to four bands using CPRI protocol.
The dual-band Remote Units offer separate or duplexed high-sensitivity UL and high-power DL ports. They include two SFP+ optical transceivers for redundancy or convenient distribution topologies.
Features
Unique loop-back fiber redundancy with each remote capable of looping back to the headend OMU, creating a second redundant pathway
Resilient fiber network RING topology along with star and daisy-chain layouts
Redundant OMU headend configurations are available for increased system reliability
Redundant headend sites configurations with fiber path diversity
Industry standard CPRI protocol, Digitized RF over Fiber is transported as data using standard SFP+ 10Gb fiber data transceivers, up to 40 km
Integration with CTI’s network management System (NMS) for Monitoring and Control
Vendor Neutral RF interfaces to support Base Stations (BST) and other donor sources
Network Management System (NMS)
The Network Management System software monitors the health
and controls the operation of active DAS radio equipment
elements, such as Channelized RF Signals Boosters, Broadband
BDAs, RF-over-Fiber links and RF switches, discrete digital
I/O devices, and other equipment.
The NMS client
Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) show detailed information
including alarm indicators, equipment controls, and other
management information.
